Divert your scraps from conventional disposal and

Make a ruckus with us

Join us for our second annual Ruckus celebration! :: Saturday, 4/6 @ 2041 Madison Street in Stevens Point

Learn about natural resources in the context of every day life, whether we consider that context or not… What happens to the water after you run the dishwasher? Is it feasible to have your own compost pile? Why might it matter to live with less waste? Can your own front yard be a haven for native plants and pollinator insects (and why should it)? Does composting have a role on a much larger scale, outside of this community? Why is soil so awesome?!

We’ve put together a schedule of presentations that will inform on our impact on natural resources, as well as empower us to make changes to those impacts if we feel so moved. Following the presentations will be a celebration that includes games, a microscope station, photo booth, screen printing, and more!

Notes: Bring your own shirt to print on (100% cotton recommended), or $5 to use one that we thrifted for you; bring your own mug or cup for coffee and/or beverages; light snacks provided; kids and families welcome, and this event is open to everyone!
